Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement policies and procedures;
- Oversee all business operations relating to client’s portfolio, financial and administrative aspects of the company;
- Design and monitor control systems;
- Regularly assess the efficiency of control systems and recommend effective improvements;
- Perform AML / CFT audits;
- Lead employee training sessions on legal and compliance issues;
- Assess the business’s future ventures and identify new business opportunities;
- Keep abreast of regulatory developments within or outside of the company as well as evolving best practices in compliance control;
- Prepare reports for senior management and external regulatory bodies as appropriate;
- Develop risk management strategies;
- Collaborate and maintain continuous communication with HR department;
- Improve current strategies if necessary;
- Supervise, review and oversee the work of colleagues;
- You may be requested to work offsite (included client premises);
- Other cognate duties as requested by reporting line.
Desired Profile & Experience:
- Degree in Law/ Finance/ management or other related qualifications;
- 8-10 years of experience in the compliance team or in the financial services industry;
- Strong knowledge of industry processes and regulations;
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities;
- An analytical mindset with excellent organizational skills.
